Marriage is a demonstration of the immeasurable grace of God, created for the purpose of making us experience a relationship of equality, love, communion, and complementarity, just as is the relationship between the Trinity.
When a man and a woman unite, they are, by the grace of God, becoming one body, just as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are one.
The likeness of the Trinity, we are one without ceasing to be two, we have different functions, but we are equally worthy and valuable before our creator.
There is no magic formula to have a happy marriage, only through the grace of Christ sinners can build a solid and lasting relationship.
It is the grace that transforms men into good husbands, enabling them to lead their homes in love. Only grace empowers women to exercise the proper help for which they were created.
Without grace marriage would not withstand the daily inclement, without grace there would be no renewal, forgiveness, resumption. It is only by the grace of God that we become able to exercise love and mercy with our spouses.
Only a marriage signed in grace stands firm to the end.
